Rotel Michi P430 Preamplifier with Bluetooth & DAC

Michi, one of the most representative names of current Japanese High End audio, has just expanded its new and celebrated Michi Prestige Series with two stereophonic models: the P430 preamplifier and the S430 power stage, which join the X430 integrated amplifier and the player of Q430 compact discs in one of the most seductive proposals of the moment, as a consequence of the exceptional combination of design, technology, manufacturing quality, musicality and price that they boast.
Born in the heat of Michi’s extraordinary Reference Series engineering, the P430 and S430 perfectly reflect the commitment to delivering top-level sound to a wider range of users with the inherent advantages of separate components in terms of performance, installation and control versatility. Thus, the P430 preamplifier is designed to preserve the integrity of the audio signal with unusual transparency. Its balanced architecture, its power supply’s low-noise multistage regulation scheme and carefully managed grounding merge to maintain the detail, tonal precision and realism of the soundstage.
At the heart of the P430 is an ESS SABER ES9028PRO 8-channel D/A conversion “chip” backed by an advanced timing system and dedicated jitter topology that improve sound linearity and coherence. Connectivity is also very careful, with, in the digital field, three coaxial and three optical inputs, a PC-USB input with support for DSD256, Bluetooth compatible aptX HD/AAC and an HDMI eARC socket to facilitate the perfect reproduction of the sound of a TV. To this we must add balanced (1) and unbalanced (3) analog line inputs, a phono input for moving magnet (MM) capsules, as well as balanced, unbalanced and subwoofer analog line outputs (2 monophonic). and digital outputs (coaxial and optical).
